One Big No to War

On April 12, 2003, Falak took the main stage at the One Big No festival at Nathan Philips Square in the heart of downtown Toronto. They shared the bill with Canadian heavy-weights such as the Cowboy Junkies, Rheostatics, King Cobb and Lowest of the Low. The festival, organized by Artists Against War, drew an audience that measured in the thousands. Falak drew an immensely enthusiastic response from a highly charged audience. Sections of the bands show, including an eloquent and passionate impromptu speech made by Siddiqi, also aired on television networks including CityTV and Pulse 24. A blistering cover of the Black Sabbath classic, 'War Pigs' brought the show to its apt finale.
